Grief Is Heavy. You Don't Have to Carry It Alone.

We want to share with you a free-to-attend healing opportunity from our friends at Bebe's Ark NFP.
At Austin Community Family Center, we believe every Chicago resident should know what support exists close to home. That's especially true when it comes to mental health.
Grief is one of the most common and least talked about mental health challenges that’s openly discussed. It can follow the loss of a loved one to violence, trauma, a broken relationship, or a major life change. It affects people differently, and it can leave them feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure where to turn.
Too often, people carry grief in silence. Not because they don't want help, but because they don't know where to find it.
That's why we're glad to spotlight the Grief Recovery Summit, presented by Bebe's Ark NFP.
"Where Golden Cracks Become Pathways to Healing"
The summit's theme offers a hopeful way to think about loss. The breaks in our lives don't have to be hidden. With care, community, and the right support, they can become the places where healing begins.
